Let's Tango is a Japanese communication assistant: it explains messages you receive, corrects what you write while preserving your meaning, and helps you compose replies, and it can turn long texts and video links into guided, section-by-section breakdowns. By using it you agree to these terms.
AI output can be wrong
Responses are generated by AI models. They are usually good and sometimes wrong — about nuance, grammar, tone, or facts. Use your own judgment before sending anything important, and treat the app as a tutor's opinion, not a certified translation. We are not responsible for consequences of relying on a generated response.
Your account
Some features require an account (sign-in is handled by Clerk). Keep your credentials to yourself and let us know if you suspect someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity under it.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Only submit content you have the right to share, and only link videos you can lawfully view — we fetch public captions and media on your behalf and do not bypass access controls. Don't probe, overload, or work around usage limits, resell access, or use the service to produce spam or abuse.
Your content
What you submit stays yours. You give us the permission needed to process it — sending it to our AI providers and storing your synced history — so the service can work as described in our Privacy Policy. Generated responses are yours to use.
Free tiers and limits
Free use comes with daily limits (shown in the app when you reach them). Limits differ by tier — anonymous, signed-in, and subscriber — and we may adjust them to keep the service sustainable. If we reduce a paid limit meaningfully, we'll say so before it takes effect.
Subscriptions
During the beta, access to and usage of Let's Tango is free. When paid subscriptions launch, Let's Tango Plus will be billed through Stripe. Subscriptions will renew automatically until cancelled; when you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and does not renew. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.
The service, as-is
We work to keep Let's Tango fast, accurate, and available, but it is provided as-is, without warranties. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending things
You can stop using the service at any time, and can ask us to delete your synced data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
